1980年代製のレピア織機。
レピアと呼ばれる槍を使って横糸を通していきます。
シャトル織機よりも速く織ることができますが、tamaki niimeではできるだけスピードを落として、やわらかく空気を含むように織っています。そのため、1台につき1日に30〜40mしか織ることができません。shawl BIGだと15〜20枚、ウエアだと10〜15着がつくれるくらいです。

Use a spear called a rapier to thread the weft.
Weaving is faster than with a shuttle loom, but tamaki niime slows down as much as possible and weaves softly to contain air.
Therefore, each machine can weave only 30-40m per day.
With shawl BIG we can make 15 to 20 pieces and with wear we can make 10 to 15 pieces.
